Today was major Google page rank update.
There are no big surprises for my sites generally.
But 2 pretty fresh sites (3 months and 2 months old) got pr5 and pr2.
Both blogs were constantly updated with unique content.
Links were built for both as well.

‘Google has been working on a new penalty that targets site’s that overly optimize for search engines for the past few months.’ Matt Cutts said.

He also said that the new over optimization penalty will be introduced into the search results in the upcoming month or next few weeks. The purpose is to “level the playing field,” Cutts said.

To give sites that have great content a better shot at ranking above sites that have content that is not as great but do a better job with SEO.

Today was major Google page rank update.
All new sites gained good page rank, even very fresh sites 2-3 months old.
Key of succes – a lot of unique content was added as well as building number of good links.
Old sites have slice changes +/- 1.

You could also check if sites have fake page rank, what are the pages not found, if links has do follow/no follow tags, determine if sites contain malware / phishing pages.

Create Google alert with your keyword and will get a lot of relevant sites where you could try to put your links.

Google page rank update was yesterday on 07/11/11.
No big news on this update.
New sites got good page rank, some of old sites also increased page rank, but number of sites also dropped a little bit.
