PageRank Update 2009

As we see and hundreds of reports across the web show Google PageRank has been really updated.
Well. what could it mean if earlier PageRank updates happen about every three months and now it comes less than a month from the last PageRank update that took place on May 27th/28th. This one started last night on June 23rd and I guess we should expect the next one will come also much earlier.
Do you have any idea why?:-) What happened to your PageRank? Did you notice any changes recently?
