Domain Mapping

To point your WordPress.com blog to your domain, first purchase domain mapping from WordPress.com. Then update the settings in your WordPress.com and Domain Manager, as follows:

Set your domain’s nameservers to use WordPress.com nameservers. You set your nameservers through the Domain Manager to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, and ns3.wordpress.com.
Select your domain through WordPress.com.
Then you have to

To Set Your Nameservers
Log in to your Account Manager.
In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
Use the checkbox to select the domain you want to use with your WordPress.com blog, and then click Nameservers.
Select Custom Nameservers.
In the Nameserver 1, 2, and 3 fields, type
ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, and ns3.wordpress.com.
Click OK.
Click OK again.

To Select Your Domain Through WordPress.com
Log in to your WordPress.com account.
Go to the Settings tab.
Go to the Domains tab.
In the Add a Domain field, enter your domain name.
Click Add domain to blog.
In the domain list, click the Put blog here hyperlink for the domain to which you want to direct your blog.
